If I were to be cast away anywhere, let it be here – the Castaway Cafè in Jacobs Well. This quaint, relaxing cafè boasts a delicious menu, gorgeous aesthetics – including some fantastical art by local artist, Donald James Waters – and a wonderful chef, Rachel, who is always working to create the perfect marriage of taste and presentation. As front-of-house, Amanda makes this dining experience a complete win with her personalised service and smile. A wonderful place to be; as a local, one in which I try to visit multiple times a week. Thank you Castaway Cafè for making each day a bit more special!
Waited 30 mins for a burned coffee, couldn’t drink. Food was 50 mins wait. They either used the smallest smashed avocado on pumpkin bread. Or it was just a smear, however flavours were a hit. Big breakfast was very underwhelming, bubble and squeak rosti particularly terrible.

Diana. Cute, homely cafe situated in a quiet street at Jacobs Well. Looks like it is a family run business. They do a good coffee brew & you can sit outside with your pet pooch in tow after you have moored the boat down the road!!
