13.10.2018I have a coffee break at Pepper Lounge and Im surprised to see a new Korean owner. While chatting he reminds me that he has maintained the old Menu and has added a Korean Menu with six meals. I would like to try the Bulgogi (Marinated Beef) Hotplate and Korean Fried Chicken. Wishing him luck, I take a sip of my double shot Cafe Latte. Served hot it is a tad weak with a good flavour. Not a great coffee but it hits the spot on this cold wet day! September 2017Time for an updated review so I visit today for lunch with some fishing friends. We are greeted at the door and asked to select a table. Menus and iced water are provided promptly. Diners keep filing in so we decide to get our lunch order to the kitchen pronto! Our lunches eventually arrive after 25 minutes, nicely presented and appetising. The All or Nothing ($24) is akin to a big breakfast with poached eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns and toasted ciabatta. The kitchen is asked to hold the mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. A very satisfying meal. Rating: 4.5/5.0 The Smoked Chicken Open Grill ($18) has smoked chicken, tomatoes, halloumi and avocado on sourdough grilled in the oven. Rating: 4.0/5.0The Mediterranean Open Grill ($16) has salami, roasted capsicum, olives, spinach on rye, grilled and topped with melted cheese. Rating: 3.5/5.0Service is quick and the wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A local gem 2 minutes from home. Thank you Pepper Lounge!
