Driven past Sushi 79 for years and never given them a try, so todays the day! Walking in at 1.20pm I am the sole hungry patron. I decide to try two entrees and a soup before ordering my main course. My dine-in orders are served in takeaway containers. The Gyoza are tiny brittle shells filled with minced pork and vegetables. I have never seen Gyoza prepared this way and they are terrible. I would suggest to the owner to drop the Gyoza off the menu completely. The Okonomiyaki is a small serving but it is well done and tasty. The Miso Soup tastes ok but it is just warm and not appealing. Overall, these entrees are disappointing and I will not have my main meal here, deciding instead to visit My Pho Bar next door.

One of my favourite Sushi places! I call in quite often as i am in the area a lot….. or maybe i am in the area a lot so that i have a reason to call in???!!! hahaI absolutely love the tuna rolls with avo, and in my opinion they are up there with the best in Brisbane! I get the gyoza too when I’m feeling a little more glutenous!Very modest little shop, tucked away in Jindalee! Must try!!
