Chicken was raw in places, the childrens fried rice was spicy, prawns in my dish were over cooked. Champagne was flat. Very limited menu. My little one went hungry since she couldnt eat the fried rice, I gave her a mouthful of it not realizing it was spicy.
A really nice view and nice food and service.Came here for a light brunch and ordered the berry hotcake. Even though I prefer it not to be soaked with juice / syrup it still retained it’s texture and was not too soggy.The staff updated us on our order as it did take a little while. The toilets are quite nice too.Would come here again particularly for the view. instagram.com
Terrible terrible service! If it wasn’t the closest cafe to my house I would never go here. The only thing that redeems it is the view. Food is average. Kitchen is tiny and takes long.
I take visitors from out of town here. It is such a beautiful spot. The food is good – not the best but still tasty – and the prices are reasonable. The staff leave you alone without neglecting you
Really enjoyed eating here. The place was quite pretty and had a nice vibe. We ordered the Shashouka which was pleasant and the coffee was decent too. Location is the main attraction for Medley Cafe, with lovely Kangaroo Point views and atmosphere.
Medley is a beautiful place for a dinner for 2. I went with a larger group on my most recent visit and it still worked well but it is such a quiet spot that it is perfect for dinners for 2 and small groups. I’ve had fish of the day and curry and they are both delicious. There is also a good choice of wines including a couple of really lovely NZ whites that you don’t see that often in Brisbane. The service is quiet and efficient. I’d happily return.
Nice location. Service is as you would expect when run by kids with obviously no training. Lots of staff but no organisation. Had to ask three different staff for water. Drinks and meals were served sporadically and didn’t arrive for our table at the same time.
