Last time I came around we had to wait for a very very long time for our dishes to arrive. The manager was very sincere and very apologetic as we sat for over an hour after our entrees before get received our mains. There were only 8 people in the restaurant including my wife and I. However, the food was seasoned well, well balanced, but both protein were overcooked when asked for medium-rare (chips were only warm). Prices were reasonable and decor was nice, but have doubts returning again due to overall experience.

Must do better. I like this pub, its always very busy and has a great atmosphere. They have really good menu choices, the staff are very good but the actual food was very average, portions are on the small side and there is definite lack of effort when it comes to the finished product. If they could just improve in this area then they’ve cracked is far as I’m concerned……

WOW! What service, visited …. WOW!What service, visited with my family, we were greeted as we entered the restaurant and seated promptly by very friendly and helpful staff. Our needs were seen to but the staff were not over the top. No one likes wait staff to be all over them, unless your a pompous arse. Rarely have I experienced service to this level especially at a pub. Great range of food on the menu. Food was delicious, well presented and brought to our table hot. If you haven’t tried it you must, and if you’ve had a bad experience there I highly recommend you give it a second chance. Will be returning for meal on our next visit to Brisy. Why not catch the free ferry from QPAC for a little sightseeing as wellEnough saidGuys, please keep up the good work!

Staff are rude and abrupt and poorly groomed. A chicken salad and steak took an hour to arrive at the table. Salad was tasteless and portion size pathetic. Prices dont match up to service or food level. Would avoid this like the plague and spend my money somewhere that provides a better service. #terrible

Good pub food. Always delivers solid pub food to a high standard. Oysters Kirkpatrick are up there with the best in Brisbane.Am yet to have a bad meal after a dozen or so visits.

Decent Brekkie. Just made it in time for some brekkie after kayaking on the Brisbane River at Riverlife.Breakfasts were good, although I thought the portion size on the walnut & fig loaf could have been a little larger for the money.
