Delicious chicken pho. It was flavourful and the Chilli sauce gave it a nice kick of spice. The other options on their menu looked interesting and I’d be sure to try it out next time!
Fabulous flavours, great outdoor ambience, service with a smile. Takes me back to SE Asia and is my little treat/retreat whenever I need a recharge. Try the pho – it’s fantastic!
Delicious fresh tasting Vietnamese food in a casual alfresco setting. Great staff, a real family business hat cares about the customers satisfaction.
Tucked away in Princeton St, Kenmore, The Rice Hut is my most favourite place to eat-in or grab a super fast takeaway. The food is absolutely delicious. Janette and Janine cater for all tastes vegan and vegetarian, seafood and meat eaters. They also serve scrumptious gluten free and nut free dishes. Everything is super fresh with many ingredients organically sourced or pesticide free. Service is fast and friendly and every dish is made to order. There is a vast selection to choose from, with some different dishes offered for dinner and lunch so its difficult to suggest the best as they are all good! Definitely try the in-house freshly baked baguettes, rice paper rolls, tacos and noodle salad with one of their refreshing mocktails on the side. The biggest surprise was their coffee, which I think is the Western suburbs best kept secret. Barista Andrew makes a sublime brew. Theres also traditional Vietnamese coffee which is highly addictive. Word is spreading fast about this little gem, so I recommend booking for dinner on Saturday nights and too for lunch if theres a few of you going.
My family had lunch atthiswonderful little bistro today. The food was of excellentquality, fresh, value for money with alovely ambience. We are regular diners of Vietnamese food at Darra and Inala, though the price is slightly higher at The Rice Hut, knowing it is MSG free and the produce is spray free sourced locally, it is definitely value for money. The rice paper rolls dish and rice noodle saladwere superb with the right balance of ingredients.Every dish that we ordered was delicious. My daughter has allergies and we were accommodated. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. A little gem in Kenmore.
Was pretty unhappy with the amount of meat that came with the rice paper rolls I feel like that is where the value is and for 11 dollars I feel like I paid for 2 dollars worth of salad and a very small amount of meat Lovely venue but just not the value for money in terms of food
Amazing food, amazing staff. Highly recommend. Best Vietnamese in Brisbane. Everything we have tried has been delicious. Fantastic Vietnamese Drip coffee and Iced Coffee.
