Best arancini so far. Linguine with prawns is so generous with huge fresh prawns. We did not make a reservation but they allowed us to come in since it was pretty early (5-5.30 pm) The staff were very nice at first. But as the place was getting busy, they did not come back to us when I was about to order a tiramisu. Still a nice dining experience. (Photos taken by my friend)
We came here for lunch and were told we were a little early and to come back at midday – not a drama, however may have been nice if we’d been offered a table and our orders taken ready for midday as we had a young child with us. However, the restaurant deserves a break between services so I can understand why they don’t do this. We came back at midday and were seated outside. The staff were very helpful and brought a highchair for our son, a plastic cup for water and some activities too. He was STOKED with the toy cars – these were a huge success and kept him happy the entire lunch which is unheard of so thank you! We ordered drinks and our pizzas at the same time. The drinks were served promptly however the pizzas took ages. From the time we sat down to when we got our food, it was over 45minutes. They were worth the wait though, my husband had the Bianca gorgonzola which was absolutely delicious –the standout pizza of the day. My choice was a mushroom, artichoke, olive and ham pizza – very tasty and flavoursome. It makes for good value being on the Entertainment Card, however I did get into a disagreement with one lady over it being valid on this particular day. She did honour the card which I appreciated because to be honest, I’d not have been happy to pay full price for the time we had to wait. I enjoyed our visit and thought the pizzas were authentic and tasty.
The marinara risotto was wonderful, whilst the gamberi (prawns) pasta was tantalizing on the taste buds. The best we’ve had for a while! The prawns were top notch and plentiful! Sadly we couldn’t fit in dessert this time but we’ll be back!
Great quality food and meals. I give the Linguine prawn pasta a 9/10, pasta was homemade, lots of large prawns that were so fresh and flavoursome. Only took off a point as it was suppose to have chilli. Kids meals very generous Staff helpful and accommodating. Didn’t have a booking and they took us in, I did wait at least 50 mins for my meal however, even after kids were given meals. They gave us complimentary gelato to compensate for this which helped please kids so I could eat my meal.
Don’t bother with place, has terrible food that is over priced! The Margherita pizza is the worst we have ever had, my kids hated it. Surprised it’s run by an Italian, the food was disgusting. Big waste of money, very very disappointed!!!!
