Would recommend, very nice service, meals we’re really nice, the pork belly n prawn salad was a goer, great size n flavour , yummo, my partner had the Market fish of the day, small in size but filling, beautiful textures n flavours, the tasting plate we had first was great value, the scallops with parsnip custard and white balsamic glaze was a highlight, highly recommend this little gem below the big name.
Our second visit on two separate trips to Caloundra and Sandbar didn’t disappoint. Fish was fresh and tasty – perhaps a little on the small side, but then again I did have to share with a toddler who loved the fish and ate more than he normally would! The chips were fresh and very tasty and we loved that they came with dipping sauces – a nice touch that other stores should adopt! The aioli was really good, very creamy, as was the tartare sauce. They were fairly quick to deliver our dinner and would not hesitate to go back again.

Burger was bomb!!! Sauces were so tasty and bacon was cooked well. Size was just right to fill me up. Big breakfast was filling with tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, bacon, toast, a fried egg, and hash brown. Drove down from Brissy to celebrate a birthday. Was taken aback by the 30+ minute wait time for our takeaway order – it was 6pm when we ordered. The fish cost $25, while the chips were $10. This is probably the most I’ve paid for takeaway fish and chips so had high hopes. At least they gave us a buzzer so we could wait with our family. But once we had received our takeaway parcel and carried it back to where we were sitting (10mins walk) we discovered there was no cutlery. We then found out it was an extra charge for cutlery. We ate our greasy fish and chips with our fingers. cannot believe this and will not be returning.
