I brought my partner, dad and my mum here for her birthday, we had a nice day the service and the attention to detail was good. The 2 course lunch was delicious and there was a decent amount of food, as a whole the venue has a great view , the wine selection was good and the food was good . The only down side was the cocktails weren’t very balanced and the water glasses were a bit dirty , but that’s it I’m being a bit picky. I would return!
I have to give these guys a 4.5 simply as the food and wines – for Caloundra – are excellent. The only reason it is not a 5 is because the service, while friendly, was not busy (don’t take the wine bottle away if you are not going to be around to fill my glass) and the fit-out is just a bit boring – however the layout is excellent – nearly every table gets a view of the beach. The food variety is excellent – the seafood fresh and firm (excellent oysters). The pork belly and lamb shoulder beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I would have loved to have tried the seafood tower or the chefs degustation – they looked brilliant. Deserts – well, simply, a wonderful way to finish the night. The wine list was very very good. I will be back just to eat here again as Caloundra is not really my cup of tea.
