  Solace Coffee – Diddillibah, QLD. Out in the country side of the Sunshine Coast lies Erbacher’s, the trusted local grocerer for years with local produce from farmland being sold. It is the primary location for residents to buy their fresh products and then some. Off to the side, as a completely seperate business albeit with a similar strategy, is a caravan that often has a line-up during business hours. Inside is what is essentially a small canteen, which mostly focuses on coffee but for the kids there are plenty of othere choices such as ice creams, milkshakes (one flavour that they offer is real coffee) and so on. This is one idea that really works and can be a distraction to bored children et al during the shopping to get something to pass the time. To try it out I made a beeline here when my parents were getting some fresh produce. Service is relaxed and done one customer at a time; this is nothing that would fly in the big smoke but here it is all fine. The barista pulls the coffees through really quickly and with efficient service. Every order is asked if it comes with sugar (mine didn’t). On the counter you can get a free small biscuit with each order. So to try this place out it was a double cappuccino – which came to be a medium. This coffee was not bad. It was that kind which has a pleasant taste to it and is a little on the strong side though nothing that will absolutely jolt you awake. It is worthwhile trying.
