Best fish and chips on the coast. This is a family run business, originally only having fresh fish (uncooked) for home cooking. But since they have been serving cooked seafood they have been doing a roaring trade, and rightly so! The freshest of produce, huge portions and delicious – all our interstate visitors rave about it. Phone ahead to avoid the long queues, especially on Friday and Saturday evening. Plenty of parking, tables and chairs to dine in if you choose. The most pleasant staff. Great seafood used to mean a trip to the vo-op in Mooloolaba, but not any more!

As a coeliac consuming gluten free options from other seafood outlets left me feeling the effects of gluten in the following hours. To the level of cross-contamination. That was not the case with 98 Fish. They obviously take great care in the preparation of their food. Further from that, the best gluten free fish and chip options I have had. Top quality in a clean environment with friendly and most helpful service.I am looking forward to going back.
