Steak is sensational and a good wine list to boot.
The food was average (over priced). Being a part of Insider restaurant by the Fork made us choose this restaurant but, it was sort of average experience throughout. I also have to mention that – “PRICE IS MISLEADING” that is advertised on third party app’s as the restaurant decided to charge an EXTRA 10% because we were not a member of Sharks club. These things have to be clearly mentioned in the menu section but, it is incorrect – which is disappointing!! ENTREE’s were the only good thing about our total dinner experience. We ordered PORK ($45) and Lamb rack ($50) for our mains – these were not even close to being decent/ good as my Lamb was served RARE when I specifically asked for Medium and it was under seasoned. The pork dish was way too salty and Bland in the middle. Dessert was disappointing – Popcorn Creme Brûlée- Didn’t taste a single thing Popcorn – The top part was Super BURNT and it felt like were eating some BURNT Charcoal. This was definitely an average/ mediocre food and wouldn’t really consider/ recommend for fine dining experience.

Mains were slow to arrive (some people had finished before others were served- and it was only alternate drop). Dietary needs were technically accommodated, but the meals took even longer to arrive and seemed that they had been chucked together in a panic. Service was slow and drink orders kept getting mixed up. Staff were helpful and friendly, but many were clearly new to hospitality. Overall, the kind of experience you would have exerienced at a footy club or RSL about ten years ago.
The food was very good and the service was excellent we will be back not what I expected at the southport sharks football club it is good during the week when it is not so busy
