A warning if you have OCD this place is extremely cluttered. I understand it’s meant to create the ambiance of the place but it just makes the restaurant look overly cluttered and dirty. I go in feeling like even though there are seats, I have nowhere to sit. I want to like it here but it’s also just too overpriced for what it is. I think I paid $17 for a sandwich for lunch, we had tapas for dinner which were great in combination with the musician playing but $80 later we were still hungry. The sangria they make is nice and is probably the only thing I’d go back for. Pet friendly with tables outside as well.

Great selection of cakes. Genovese coffee is decent. Music is a bit loud inside and rather crowded with old furnitures and odd things hanging from the ceilings or stacked all over the place.

If you could compare this place to a family member it would be your oddball Uncle that always does something awkward (but hilarious) on Christmas Day.  Think plastic animals thrown into your bowl-size mocktails, teamed with creative flavour combos and beautifully presented food – a trip to Madam Tojo’s is sure to entertain!

Fantastic Melbourne quality cafe hidden in Labrador . Well worth the trip, fantastic food, live music, will not disappoint.
