I really want to like this place because it’s your typical cosy, family owned cafe but unfortunately this seems to be their strength and weakness. I would assume it’s the son (since he’s only 15 years old or so) who makes the coffees which is nice but the coffees are never good. On our last visit we waited about 20 minutes for coffees and about 30 in total for the food and the cafe wasn’t that busy. My bacon was so undercooked on most pieces that I had to cut off the fat. Also, you’d think with them being right next door to a bakery that they’d have some nice toast options but the toast is just plain white bread. I’ve given this place a few goes before leaving a review but my rating of 3 (coffee alone would be a 2) is where I’m going to leave it. Again I appreciate that it’s a mom and pop cafe but some experienced staff, especially a barista would go a long way for this place.
