  I love this place! Taste has amazing meals at decent prices, good customer service and a lovely setting. Always well presented and the meals never take too long to arrive at the table. Great smoothies too!

  We came for breakfast.I was a little dismayed at the price but thought it was ok if the food was nice.We were served quickly which was good but the food came out all at different times and quite spaced out. I had the rosti with avocado, bacon and poached egg. Was ok but nothing outstanding. Coffee was ok. Nothing to rave about. Probably wouldn’t recommend.

  We discovered Taste a couple of months ago. I highly recommend it !! I have traveled widely in Australia and overseas, eaten in many styles and types of cafes and restaurants including 5 Star. The kitchen at Taste is turning out high quality food at very decent prices. Compliments to the Chefs. Very tasty, cooked to perfection, interesting items. I’ve seen a number of negative comments around on this site and a couple of others. Are they all the same person or opposition? Not sure, but I can say for sure that has not been our experience on the three occasions we have been to Taste. Service was fine and friendly for a cafe restaurant, I have certainly experienced much worse in supposed full restaurants especially on the Gold Coast. I met the new manager there two visits ago, a big jovial chap, who, if the previous comments are to be believed at a 1 rating which is absolute nonsense, then he has done a great job of turning this place around. The meals, quality and size, are well above average, and well above many restaurants on the Gold Coast. Even a number of Melbourne restaurants would sit behind Taste for sure. Deserts, also very nice and not the normal boring items you get most everywhere else. Everything is made on site. I will say though the coffee style cakes and squares seen in the fridge are the normal boring stuff and look old even if they might not be. Off putting when wanting a sweet snack with coffee. That needs to be fixed. Otherwise, a really nice experience and fantastic quality food, very well priced at $15 for a huge Caesar Salad with Moroccan Chicken, and I had the Grilled Vegetables with Grilled Chicken also $15 both very flavorsome and well worth every penny. Highly Recommended.
