After some fun in the sun, kids needing some ice cream and rest. Nice little fish and chip shop, plenty of seating and parking. Can either sit inside or out.Ice cream was nice and refreshing, and not too expensive considering location.
These guys are famous for their crab sandwiches. Ok so $14 for a sandwich isn’t cheap – but if you’ve ever picked meat from a crab you’ll understand the price. Plenty of crab, seasoned nicely on white bread – nothing gourmet, just bloody delicious. Pairs nicely with a milkshake too 🙂
They sell a crab sandwich for $13. Do not buy it. They asked if I wanted lemon and mayo in it? Didn’t get it. It’s a shame because I don’t mind eating crab on its own. But the crab was icy and watery. The lemon and mayo definitely would have helped to make the overpriced crab taste better. Oh well I guess it’s a touristy spot.
