Spotlessly clean Afican restaurant with super friendly attentive service. Definitely the go for carnivores as the menu is predominantly meat. All I tried was the coffee as it was late in the day & I needed one, this place was on my route so called in for take away.
I was feeling very adventurous on that day so I thought why not try this African restaurant near my work place. To be perfectly honest I have never had African cuisine at all so had zero idea what to expectArriving here and read through the menu, I still had no idea what to order. Luckily, friendly staff kindly explained the menu to me and gave me few recommendations. I opted for Sabaayad with Soqaar($12) which is Somali style flat bread with beef dish which turned out to be a great choice! Flat bread was soft with bit of sweetness which matched really well with Soqaar. YUM. Kindly enough they also provided me with Sanoonad(beef curry) to try which was also very nice and matched with flat bread. In addition, special chilli sauce was really good which provided additional flavour and kick to the dish. Now the generous amount of special spiced tea was such a great way to finish off the dinner and my heart and body was both warmed up feeling very happy.This place is simple yet homey and welcomes you with open arms. And such a very generous serving for little price tag!My first experience of African food was memorable one and I am sure I will not forget this for many years to come. Will be back to try other dish on offer! Thanks for the good feed!
