This beautiful new little cafe in Logan makes a welcome addition to the coffee & cake scene. A great selection of homemade sweets with good reliable Merlo coffee blend. The friendly barista will put in whatever amount of shots you request for $3.5. The coffee as you would expect of Merlo is very good as are the sweets. I bought a fresh cream roll, which was encased in a delectable flaky puff pastry, very light & moreish
Tried to explore the Little Cove on Chambers this morning; however, I missed it because it either does not trade on Monday or too early by 7:30am. Turned my steering heading to Logan City. While I drove past the Logan City Centre, I turned my wheel towards the centre and tried to push my luck. Fortunately, the Merlo signage of this patisserie is very eye-catching so I parked my car and explored it. When I walked in, the owner gave me a warm greeting and my gaze was caught by those treats sitting in the cabinets. First thing came across my sight was the cream puff so ordered one to go with my flat white. Well, the good punch of the Merlo coffee really woke up my palate since I have not had a nice flat white for 10 days (just came back from Malaysia last night). The feeling of a mouthful of soft cream from the puff mixed with the coffee is fantastic! I don’t mind to have it again if I am around the area next time.
