Dropped in this sushi place for exploration because it is so close to where I lived. Surprisingly, it was very busy (full house all the time) with people come and go and also there were many take-away orders.Perused the i-pad menu (seems to be quite popular now), we discovered that sushi prices still are categorised in different colour plates instead of one price for all such as $3.80 per plate as at the Sushi Edo. Since we are not interested in the sushi (they look a bit odd in terms of presentation) so we placed ordered for a mixed sashimi plate, Pork Katsu Don and Chicken Karaage Ramen. Honestly, the preparation time was quite long comparing to the production rate of its competitors. All of the dishes came in at the same time. Sashimi plate was seriously let down because the salmon and tuna do not look freshy. Tendon was found on one of the tuna slices and there was different cutting on salmon slices. For a price of $17.00, this dish is absolutely a big issue. Pork of the Katsu Don was over-cooked and only the Chicken Karaage Ramen made us satisfied.Overall dining experience is over-priced with very high profit margin (no wonder they have four outlets). Review marks mainly give to the friendly and proficient service 🙁
