Very tasty Taiwanese style food, pretty much everything we ordered was well executed with good size potions. This place can get very busy so be sure to call ahead, especially if you need a large table. Its a little more expensive than other Taiwanese places but the quality makes up for this.

Promised myself to have a vegetarian dinner since last visit so arranged it last night. Honestly, I think this restaurant offers the most vegetarian dishes amongst the other Chinese restaurant in Brisbane. The key point is that chef’s culinary skill really tempts me to give it a go.Ordered the Deep Fried Tofu, Stir Fried King Oyster Mushrooms in Sanbei Sauce and a dish of Cellophane Noodles with Spicy Beans. Tastes of all the three dishes are above average; particularly the sauce to go with the tofu really makes the whole dish up to another level. Chef even prepares the tofu better than those that I had in Taiwan last week. Honestly, it is the first time that I had Sanbei sauce to go with mushroom only instead of chicken but this version deserves thumb-up. However, using spicy beans instead of pork mince as the vegetarian version does not show the expected effect and it was slightly too wet. Having said that I really do not mind this dish as the alternative of the original one. Overall, this restaurant deserves both ticks for the food & service despite the dining area is a little bit too noisy if you are after a relaxing moment after work.2 months ago Rating 4/5Wow! Did not realise that my last review is over four years until I had a dinner in group of four last night. The whole restaurant is as busy as it was. Full of Taiwanese (I suppose) diners. Service is very attentive and friendly. We ordered Handmade Tufu with Chinese Bolognese, Stir fried spinach with pork in Sacha Sauce, Taiwanese S&P chicken and Glamorous wok Crispy Pork Hock. I am much appreciated that this restaurant compliment away a cold dish on the house to kick-start diners’ appetites. The lotus root and the dry Tufu are very tasty. Handmade Tufu came first on the table. Loved the fried tufu, which is very silky and the hero should be the minced pork – very Taiwanese flavour with subtle sweetness (4.5/5). Stir fried spinach is perfectly cooked and well balanced with the Sacha sauce (4/5). S&P chicken is jut average and not very outstanding from other Taiwanese fast food (3.5/5). Hero should be the pork hock, where the skin is crispy and meat is not greasy. Honestly, I cannot pick up any fault from this dish (5/5). Overall mark is 4.25/5Aug 06, 2014 Taiwanese or Taiwanese Chinese style?. Services are fair as compared to the other Chinese restaurants in Sunnybank, however, I don’t like the food that they served. I just don’t know what type of cuisines they try to present….not a purely Taiwanese style but just like some fusion food. For the money that I paid for the food, there are absolutely some other places serving better tasty, delicious and valuable food in Sunnybank area.
