Time to update my 2017 review so today Phuong Tran and I walk in for our ramen fix. No greeting here so we seat ourselves. Almost everything here is self serve. We help ourselves to menus, water and condiments. I place our order, make payment and return to the table. * Miso Champion ($13.90). The Pork Miso broth could be hotter and the serve of thin pork slices is laughable. Phuong Tran likes the texture of the thicker ramen. Rating: 3.5/5.0*Black Champion ($12.90) serve of ramen is tiny and I ask for an extra serve of complimentary ramen. The serving of Pork broth small but is tasty. The pork slices are so thin I finish it with two spoonfuls of noodles. Rating: 3.5/5.0* Pork Gyoza ($6.50) has a serve of six Gyoza. Served hot, the pork filling tastes fresh with some sweet gravy. We enjoy this dish and rate it 4/5. Our meal here a year ago came with larger serves and was more satisfying. This time round the serving size is small and the broth should be hotter. Our overall rating drops from 4 to 3.5!
