I’ve been to The Terrace before and the macaroni cheese was horrible. I couldn’t taste any cheese, it was to creamy and the pasta was nowhere near al dente. It was like a cream soup with half-pureed pasta. This time I tried the battered fish. The batter was perfect and the fish was beautiful. I ordered fizzy water but it tasted metallic like it came from a can. It seems the kids meals aren’t treated as well as adult meals.

I dined here for the first time on a busy Friday evening, in a group of five including one child. Service was relatively quick.I ordered the battered John Dory, which came with beer battered chips and a garden salad. The meal was fine, and reasonably priced at about $19. The junior member of our group unfortunately did not enjoy the kids’ macaroni and cheese. I also had some of it and found the macaroni to be over cooked. My overall experience was affected by the high level of background noise, mainly due to a raffle being called over a PA system in the restaurant. I was told that this happens on a regular basis.

Awesome local place close to the university. Excellent customer service and felt very well looked after. We went to the Terrace for a friend’s birthday dinner and were given complimentary garlic bread – perfect amount of garlic on there and good quality bread too. Great vegetarian options as well – bonus points! I ordered the vegetarian Tuscan pasta – a huge portion of a delicious tomato based pasta with the choice of linguini or pappardelle. I also tasted the vegetarian pizza that my boyfriend ordered (also a huge serving size) and it was delectable. Perfect crust with different vegetables on the pizza, but not overpowered by any particular veggie. Steak and schnitzel was also ordered by the others and they were also satisfied with their meals. Overall, a brilliant local restaurant with a lovely oriental interior, excellent homely customer service and food that is filling and really tasty. Be advised that you’ll need ID confirming adult age to enter

Eat someware else. Crap food.. Do not waste your time at this place, we have previously dined here and found the food was quite ok. But a recent trip for dinner made us wonder what has gone wrong with the portion size of their meals you begin to wonder if you need to order 2 x mains to make equal one main. Very disappointed. will not be eating there anymore.

Always back for more. A somewhat regular to this restaurant. Great for families and plenty of open space around and above. There is now table service so no need to get up and order food or drinks. Staff are very friendly as well. Meals tonight were out within 25 minutes for 8 people (kids were earlier). Food ordered was Barramundi, seafood platter, pizza and pasta for the kids. The pasta was more than enough for all kids. The barramundi was tasteful and filling, The seafood platter didn’t look like it would be enough but it definitely was. Dessert selected was Apple Pie and Orange Chocolate Fondant. Need to remember to order ice cream with the fondant as it comes with cream and citrus caramel sauce. Overall a pleasant dinner that’s not too bad on the pocket.

As a non member of the club I got to say the steak special was very nice and tender for $15 plus the free drink. Service was nice and friendly. I would recommend people to come and try the terrace. Please note not all other clubs cards may not be accepted.

Good value. Somewhat above average for a club restaurant. Service is friendly but basic (order as you enter) and the food is nicely prepared and good value (not cheap but fair) with a reasonable selection of mains. Ambiance is pretty standard for a club restaurant but pleasant enough. Club members get a discount on meals and drinks and at $5 for 5 years’ membership it pays to join up. A big plus for the Sunnybank area is that parking is easy.
