While the staff themsves were friendly and polite, overall the service throughout our visit was pretty poor. We were ignored for a good 10 minutes (even dumping some menus and saying someone will be back would have sufficed so we didn’t feel completely invisible). They served our breakfasts more than 5 minutes apart and the bacon and egg roll ordered with BBQ sauce had no sauce in it at all. Partners coffee was good he said, but I ordered an almond milk coffee and I think they need to consider trying other almond milk because it was separated and did not taste nice at all. Their water station was also run dry and we were never offered a bottle of water and glasses like every table around us seemed to have. I can’t say I’d be back in a hurry sorry.
This cafe opens pretty early and remains buzzing throughout the day. We were staying right above the cafe for our Easter break and came here for breakfast / morning coffee almost daily. Tried their croissant, ham cheese toast, sausage roll, scrambled eggs, omelette, bacon, coffees. All pretty good.Staff is friendly and prompt. One thing I did notice – service is lot quicker if you get a table rather than a take away.
Came here for breakfast in a small group. 2 has the sweet potato hash stack, the breakfast salad and the breakfast bruschetta. Service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious and the drinks were nice. We had a smoothie, a juice and 2 coffees. Would definitely come back here again!
It was a lovely egg benedict , had a little too much of hollandaise for my taste and would have been much better if it was gratinated too . I loved it anyways. Thanks
We came for the early opening with pretty low expectations. Coffee was fine, food was edible, if fairly lacklustre and cheap , so we’d have left happy if we hadn’t been, quite frankly, taken for a ride. Eggs Benedict with spinach? $20, and came with no hollandaise sauce. No discount for no bacon, no discount for no hollandaise, no apology for selling me a dish they couldn’t serve. Oh, but they did charge us for the side of bacon someone else on the table had. The bakery on Tedder is open at 5am – go there instead.
