Great Burgers and Pulled Pork Sandwich, Pet friendly, water bowls supplied for your Dog. Good for coffee and a read of the newspaper with your Dog at your feet.
Terrible service, average food, amazing view. Cafe Rock pool has stunning water views over the marina, paid parking at $1.50 per hour. The menu is limited, but well priced. We stood at the counter and had to ask the waitress to actually serve us. We had ordered pancakes and they came out with frozen berries rather than strawberries as the menu stated. One meal came out 20mins earlier than everyone else’s. Staff were rude and not friendly at all. Apart from the view we wouldn’t come back here!
Very Disappointing!!!. The fish & chips I bought for the family was disgusting. All frozen processed fish (long thin strips with next to no fish inside), calamari, nuggets. The fish was the worst!!! Overpriced stale muffins also. Bring your own food & drink if visiting the Broadwater Parklands.
Disappointing. A friend told me about Café Rockpool a couple of days ago. Reading the menu online and great ratings here, I was keen to try it so went there for lunch today. I was left wondering if the café has changed hands, as the menu was pretty uninspiring.I had the fried flathead fillets (4 longish, thin ones) and chips which came with tartare sauce and a tiny, undressed rocket and parmesan salad. My friend had the beetroot salad which had a little grated beetroot in the centre, but mainly consisted of oil coated leaves. Nothing was bad. It was just very ordinary. Most of the other dishes were burgers, sausage rolls and that sort of thing. They also had pre-made focaccias and some cakes that looked okay. They serve Piazza D’Oro coffee, but I can’t comment on how well they make it as we opted for bottles of iced tea.Prices are good. Maybe the breakfast menu is better.
With a stunning view across the Broadwater to Palazzo Versace and Marina Mirage beyond, Café Rockpool’s a smart family-friendly restaurant serving made to order breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, as well as providing a choice of readymade food for those passing through.
