We had the BLTA and the Breakfast Bagel the other day after daughter picked Thyme on the walk past. Food was excellent (which we rank our reviews on). Might give the cafe itself a 3.5 as tables were sticky and some of the cafe’s presentation was a bit rough on the edges, but the food itself was great.Ignore Herring’s review – apologies as a visitor from Melbourne for there being someone so dog-unfriendly, crowd resistant and only bothering to complain about every restaurant they’ve been to over the last 8 years!
Dogs everywhere, interfering with access and movement of staff and customers. Dogs should be banned. It’s a cafe for humans, isn’t it? Not to mention the smell and sanitary aspects.
We met friends for brunch at this popular spot. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The choices are quire standard but the ingredients are fresh. My veggie breakfast was good but would have preferred some sort of dressing on the fresh spinach leaves or at least wilted with the mushroom and the eggs. Otherwise it is just green leaves.
stumbled upon thyme after leaving Milan on Main because they’d changed their menu (i really wanted french toast that morning!), and so glad we did! french toast with bacon, banana and maple syrup totally hit the spot, and my friend said his mushrooms on turkish bread was the standout brekky dish of the trip! service could’ve been friendlier, but was good enough anyway! they also appear to make their chai teas from real tea leaves as i found some leaves in my dirty chai. definitely on the list for brekky the next time we’re over this way 🙂
Quite impressed with this little cafe. Service was very attentive, coffee was great and the quality of the produce were fresh and certainly delicious. Thanks!
