Ordered a large braised pork with rice and a spicy braised beef with ramen. Both me and my partner got a dollar drink combo. I’d say it is an awesome deal. The pork dumplings is spicy sauce is a must try!! Overall an excellent little casual dining restaurant, just be mindful of the children as there’s many of the little one here.

Really good food and bubble tea! We got the braised pork rice and the fried basil chicken rice + brown sugar bubble tea and they’re all delicious. Would be better with a stronger flavour but that’s just my preference!

Came for lunch and ordered the Spicy Noodles with Chicken Cutlet ($13.80). Service was quick and I was happy with the portion size of the noodles (chicken cutlet could have been bigger though). The chilled noodles was a great way to balance off the spiciness of the sauce, however I feel it could have been chilled a bit more. Ordered a pearl milk tea to finish the meal off, which was great value ($4.50 only!)— can’t get bubble tea at this price anywhere else!

  • FOODIE ADVENTURE

Our latest foodie adventure took us to Southport to the most humble and generous host. Enoch was so sweet and really welcomed me and my family. When placing our order Enoch really wanted us to try the Braised pork with rice and l’m so glad we did. Actually everything we ordered we loved. My kids absolutely loved the Basil fried chicken. It reminded me of KFC popcorn chicken but 10 times better. Pork dumplings in spicy sauce are handmade and tasted so fresh. My husband went crazy for the fried pork cutlet and rice and takoyaki balls. Loved it and demolished it. My Spicy braised beef noodle soup was great too. I wish it was more spicy but the braised beef just melted in my mouth. Really yummy. For drinks we got Brown sugar iced tea, almond milk with natural anthocyanin and double berry smoothie with cheese milk foam. The smoothie tasted like a strawberry cheesecake but in a drink. All three drinks together looked soo great and tasted great too. My kids just couldn’t put down the smoothie and l dont blame them. It was honestly amazing. And finally for dessert we got their singature shaved mango snow ice. This thing was huge! Family of 4 couldn’t even make a dent in this dessert and we were really trying. Everyone loved it and it was a great way to finish a truely lovely lunch. Thank you to Enoch and the staff at Wutong.

We were glad being invited to taste the food & beverage of this local gem located within the food precinct outside the Australia Fair. When we arrived, the dining area was nearly fully occupied and we were greeted by our passionate host – Enoch. After perused of the menu and the details of new dishes on the wall menu, we decided to go for: Deep Fried Mushroom, Deep Fried prawns, Half Tendon/Tripe Noodles soup, the Homemade Spicy Sauce mixed with Noodles and Chicken Cutlets and the drinks of Iced Lemon Tea and the Honey Matcha Soda. First dish came to the table was the Deep Fried Prawns, which were perfectly prepared with crispy batter and reasonable portion. Next came the table was the Deep Fried Mushroom, batter is different from the prawn but tasteful. Hero is the homemade wasabi, which upgrades the dish to the next level (4.5/5). Then both noodles came at the same time. Tendon and tripe both deserve thumb-up that melted in out mouths. Noodles are al dente but soup base can be more rich (4.5/5). The Noodles with spicy sauce and the accompanied chicken cutlet are the perfect dish of the night. Sauce was well balanced with slightly spiciness from the chili and sourness from the dark vinegar. Importantly, the chicken cutlet is the best of the best that I ever tasted. They are juicy and tenderised. (5/5). Afterward, we ordered the homemade Bean curd for dessert. We love the passion from the owner that every single ingredients such as taro ball, red bean and pearl are all home-made. The selling point of this bean curd dessert is not the smoothness but the original taste of the bean. Very nice combination of flavour (4.5/5).  Honestly, the only disappointment should be the pearls in the dessert, which was slightly too hard in the centre and the Iced Lemon Tea was just average (3.5/5). Having said that the Honey Matcha Soda became my a-must drink order next time, it was perfect for me (5/5) We must return to taste their signature soon because Enoch told us that their signatures are the Braised Pork with Rice and the Pork Dumplings in spicy Sauce that we have missed this time. What a shame! We did suggest the owner to branch out in Brisbane! Rating 4.5/5
