Staff service was great little language barrier but she was attentive the menu had lots of great Japanese choices prity extensive really so We had a coffee its was very nice also had entree of Salmon sushi it was very fresh made to order it was perfect and presented great also then the teriyaki chicken came with rice with miso soup and the chicken was little over cooked and needed slightly more teriyaki sauce was all nicely presented also. we had yaki soba noodles with a broth and tempura prawns it was great the broth coulda been a little hotter other then that it was spot on Yuzu has a nice decor and u can see them cooking it’s a great set up if u like Japanese food you should visit deffently worth a look

Chicken Katsu Curry. Crispy chicken with a rich curry sauce delicious—–28 Nov, 2014—–Chicken Katsu Curry at Yuzu Lounge Southport. What a great little restaurant. Brilliant location straight across from the aquatic centre at Broadwater Parklands under the H2O building. I had the Chicken Katsu Curry Dinner set, which came salad, miso soup and an abundance of rice. Beautiful crispy chicken and a decadent curry sauce, what a delight.All for 16 dollars! The Gyoza dumplings looked pretty sexy too. The restaurant is BYO and has full table service, and it was lovely catching the breeze off the Broadwater. We had a service hiccup with one entree not arriving, and two of our guests ordered entrees without realising (no fault of the restaurant). So there was definitely some food envy going on. I on the other hand was beyond satisfied, and woke up this morning thinking of going back there for lunch today! Yum yum yum yum 🙂
My new favourite japanese restaurant. After meaning to eat here for a while, tonight was definitely worth the wait. The food was oishii (delicious) and the service attentive but not intrusive. For only $18, the teriyaki dinner set came with all the extras including the random little additions so often served in japan ( tonight I had sweet potato mash and seasoned carrots). Great value for money but the ambiance was the best aspect. Great decoration in the restaurant created intimate dining areas, the bubbling water feature and the views over the recently completed swimming centre all created a relaxed dining experience. Will be back!
