We visited Nans restaurant on Easter Saturday and it was excellent. The Hawaiian burger was perfect and the fish, chips and fresh salad were some of the best we have ever had. There were plenty of salad varieties and the fish was freshly cooked. I would highly  recommend this restaurant to everyone. Do not miss it on your next trip to beautiful Maleny.
Nan’s Seafood cafe, this is the best fish and chips on the sunshine coast. The Burgers are prepared neatly and made exactly how you want it.The fish and chips are fresh and cooked to golden perfection.The staff service are very  friendly and easy to talk to.My family and I come here every week for a Friday night meal. I highly recommend.
Went to Nan’s Cafe today. To be quite honest and without being disrespectful to the owners, quite poor quality of food.No display in the front fridge, wasn’t even welcoming. No salads nor fresh seafood. The oils would have to have been old and dirty as the fish and chips were black and extremely greasy. The chips weren’t golden and crispy nor was the rest of it. Tartare sauce was thick and blobby. Overall, quite disappointed. Lots of improvement needed here. Have come from a fish and chip background and this little establishment was way off then mark. Could improve but this would be up to the owners.
