Shotgun Espresso is such a little cafe. However, the food experience is fantastic! I loved my anchovies & poached eggs on sourdough toast with hollandaise sauce. It was so delicious!! And, even a piece of blueberry tea cake was very fluffy, and wasn’t too sweet. The service was very good, and the atmosphere/decor was so cute. I’ll definitely come back for more!
Love this place. It’s got such a relaxed vibe about it. The food is delicious and the coffee is smooth. Well worth the wait. Last visit I tried the lemon polenta cake and the banana bread. The lemon polenta was my favourite out of the two – not too sweet and has a good lemon zing to it. The staff are super friendly.
Great attention to detail in how the food was presented without being over the top. Every dish was nice and a little bit different. Super friendly staff. Great coffee. We liked the bacon so much, we went down to the local butcher afterwards and bought some of the free range bacon to take home.
