Food: 4, Wait Time: 2, overall: 3Went last weekend for lunch, we were seated just before 12pm and our meals took close to 1hr to arrive. No update from staff during the wait, nor were we advised there would be such a wait when we ordered. Whilst there were many tables with reserved signs, there was not many diners at that stage. Ordered a kids meal (expected it might arrive first as most kids meals do, but son had to wait until ours arrived). Husband’s angus burger was lovely, the chips were fantastic (would go back for just a serve of chips). My son ate all of his lunch (unusual but he was definitely very hungry by the time it arrived). I ordered the blackened fish tacos, they were beautiful, freshly made tacos (not the crumbly old el paso style, but made fresh with possibly cornmeal), with lovely pico di gallo and avocado. Diners seated near us ordered the tacos to share between 2 (wise move, the 3 tacos were so filling). The food was great but the wait tarnished the experience for us.

Had a light lunch here recently – coconut Qld prawns, cured salmon (with turkish crispbread & creme fraiche), & comforting roasted kipfler potatoes. About $60 with a couple of drinks so not a budget meal (they have a cheaper adjoining takeaway), but very reasonable to sit and look out at a nice sunny day & be served by obliging staff.Small servings but very good quality ingredients, attractive presentation, it felt like a nice relaxed treat. Would happily return for the same meal!
