Apart from pleasant staff, not impressed with anything else. Told to take a seat after having ordered and paid at the counter but tables were not clean, so we grabbed a serviette and cleaned one by ourselves. The food wait wasn’t long, but the food wasn’t worth waiting. Salt&pepper calamari was kind of smelly, not fresh and the batter was undercooked. The vego burger was pathetically dry and tasteless. Such a shame being in a prime location and attracting lots of people, but chances those people will never return.
My wife bought home a takeaway fish and chips here about a month ago and sorry to say, it was terrible. I know the place has just opened and may be going through teething problems, but firstly forgetting her order while she waited with a hungry 2yr old, then rushing it through and ending up with what roughly resembled fish and chips was so disapointing.
