Always an excellent meal and great value. Tried a few dishes and yet to disappoint, a regular favorite. They also do delivery locally thru another webpage called menu log!
A great Thai restaurant at the top of Cambridge Parade. Very tasty, efficient and friendly service. Comfortable dine in area that is quiet and mood lit.
Thai Boat has amazingly fresh, tasty food. I love Thai food especially after travelling through Thailand. This is some of the best & freshest Thai food I’ve had in Oz. Locals on the street even walked up to us recommending the restaurant. (BTW we found out it has been under new management for the last year or so – excellent!)
Amazing food and service! For my partner’s birthday dinner he requested that we have thai, not just any thai, he wanted a whole fish with a special salad that he has had in west end. So on my way home from work I dropped into thai boat a cople of days before hand to check out the menu. The staff member who I later found out is Kay, the owner, must have seen the disappointment on my face when I saw that they did not have whole fish. She advised that if I wanted something that was not on the menu she would go to the makets and get whatever was needed. Two day later we had the most amazing meal, my patner commented it was better than the fish at west end. We also had the fish cakes that we were delish and I had the duck curry off the menu that was sweet and tender and one of the be at I’ve had. Kay was friendly and attentive, she advised that they have only had the restaurant for 6 mths. This must explain the average rating because with the service and quality of food I have no hesitation giving it 5/5!
Enjoyed the banquet for 2 last night – beautiful food and great service ! Especially enjoyed the chicken red curry.
Now Horrible – needs big clean. Have attended with Thai Restaurant 4 years running on Halloween night. Was once quite good but attended last night and it was horrible. Waited 30 mins just to have waitress take an order. Then got a nice entre. Had to wait all up 1 hour for two main meals which were very average. I noticed in the interim that the carpets and seats were quite grubby. Redland Shire Council should attend and go through the place.Very slack service was the main gripe but also the food was below average. Will not return next year but have found a top Thai at Milton.
Probably the most disappointing Thai meal I have ever had. Would not recommend to anyone. Average flavours and expensive for what it was. Won’t go back.
