Staff were attentive but the meal was very bad. Not a busy night maybe 20 people in the restaurant lots of staff. We ordered a eye fillet vegetables and Diane sauce and duck spring rolls to share as we were not very hungry. The steak had been cooked off prior and re heated and was cold the mash potato was cold and hard with no taste the sauce was straight out of the packet no cream did not taste anything like Diane sauce very disappointing and overpriced for the size and quality

The staff here are really friendly & make you feel right at home . I visited here many years ago & decided a return visit was long overdue. Actually had the avocado for breakfast & was really good as was the coffee

Old mate and myself were super hungry after a nice long walk along wynumm waterfront. This was a lunch time on a Monday. First up: old mate was a bit peeved that he was not upsold the pints of beer for half price. We had not noticed the good deal until after we purchased the schooners! Which were probs more expensive then the pints!! Not cool!! But apart from this disappointment, the food was okay. Expensive. Was a good feed though. We got the flathead, chips and salad. Nicely cooked. Just what we felt like at the time. Restaurant was clean.

Thankyou for a lovely day. A group of 10 ate today for my birthday. There were no complaints in any respect. Staff were lovely and contributed to a fun day. The food was lovely, particularly the seafood basket which was not full deep fried crumbed frozen seafood. Plenty to eat and very tasty too. My 3 year old great niece had a lovely time. It’s not often to you eat out, have great food and cater to three generations. Well done – I had a lovely day.

We went here with a group of people for a birthday, mainly because pub food is difficult to stuff up, these guys managed it though. For some reason have more then 3 people at a table and things go missing, orders get lost, billing is harder…Two meals came out 20 mins before the rest, which meant they had finished before we started, then the meals were poor, no dressing on the vegetables, steak undercooked. Wasn’t worth the money. One upside is the buy one get one half price coupons. The whole venue needs a good freshening up as well.

I guess it is dependable food. However it is not great value, considering the quality. You’d expect a steak to be cooked right at least. Over cooked I’m afraid.

Most expensive corkage in the world!. Be warned if you want to BYO at this hotel’s restaurant. We brought our own bottle and then were accosted yes, ACCOSTED by a chap who seemed to be in charge, who rudely demanded to know where the bottle had come from. When I said it was ours, he said only bottles bought from their Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop qualified for drinking in the restaurant with a $2 corkage. There was no signage to that effect in the restaurant, and the bar tender didn’t ask where the bottle had come from when I asked her to open the bottle. Since our bottle had a CORK (more work for the staff) this waiter demanded $10 for corkage! When I said I would pour the wine back in the bottle rather than pay such an outrageous amount, he relented and let us carry on for a $5 corkage, still more than their normal charge. We have eaten at this place for YEARS and never been asked where our bottle came from. Be warned if you want to have wine at this place. After such treatment, I doubt that we will be going there again.
