This pub is just so old and faithful. I love this place because it brings me so many memories. Gorgeous veranda over looking the mountains with classic pub style food. I had a delicious roast lamb roll with chips for $13. Friendly service. Beer on tap includes Cascade and XXXX varieties.
We visited the Mapleton Tavern on a rainyfoggy afternoon for lunch. Great dining space on the veranda. The wine list was not particularly good or extensive. The special would have been better if the sausages had not been pre cooked. The service was adequate at best.

Undiscovered gem. Beautiful views of the ranges and coast from the taverns verandah with honest tasty traditional australian food. As a coeliac I wasn’t sure what they might have but there’s a huge range of beautiful fresh food gluten free and they are very knowledgeable about gluten free diet restrictions. Warm and friendly service I enjoyed the micro meal of roast lamb and vegetables. The plate was huge and the lamb was so tender it just fell apart. Choice of freshly made sauces included such as mushroom cream sauce etc finished the dish perfectly. My husband had the pie as he’s not coeliac and said that was delicious. Wonderful traditional australian pub with gorgeous views lovely food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place for a great lunch spot!
