Overpriced and over-rated. This restaurant may have been the place to go many years ago, but sadly that is no longer the case. My partner and I ordered the goat curry and seafood marinara for our mains, the dishes that arrived at our table after a very long wait in a quiet restaurant were ameteur quality at best. The goat curry was very bland, with no spice or flavour, and tasted more like a lamb stew. I was as equally as disappointed in the marinara, which was so exceptionally dry I was unable to finish eating the dish.We tried the dessert tasting plate to finish, which arrived after another grueling 45 minute wait. Whilst I would give the presentation a 10/10, unfortunately the taste of the various desserts was about 5/10 (slightly better than the mains but not by much.)We were very dissapointed with the poor quality of food that was served to us last night and will not be returning. Don’t waste your money and eat elsewhere!
Went for dinner at Megalomania. It looked empty, but everyone was seated at the back. The courtyard is very nice, with beautiful trees and fairy lights. Service was very friendly. Meat is from local butcher but they didn’t know whether it was free range (they do have organic chicken on the menu). We started with pita bread and dips, bruschetta and scallops. The scallops were nice and so was the bruschetta. The 3 dips with the pit bread were all cream cheese based, it would have been nicer if there would have been different styles of dips. I wasn’t too impressed with the starters. For mains we had the beef cheeks and the pork belly. Both were amazing! Really good!! We had a GSM red wine which was nice too. Also tried their own label amber all, which was good as well. It isn’t cheap, we paid $280 for 4 people.
Beautiful food amd nice relaxed atmosphere. Price is a tad high, but the quality of the food is unbelieveable. The night I went there was live music which was a great touch.
Came for midweek dinner & was super impressed with service( not too busy) food was exceptionally presented & flavours were fresh & exciting. Not the cheapest but well worth a beautiful dining experience. Happily come back
