The food was nice but the coffee wasn’t great. Half of the soy cappuccino was thick muck basically. I talked to the guy who made the coffee and he said that always happens. I’ve had more than enough soy coffees to know that half of the coffee shouldn’t be a thick paste.
Firstly, do yourself a favour and order a Mexican Burrito. Literally the best I have eaten, have ordered this a few times now. Great atmosphere and vibe. Coffee is great too. Well done guys.
We love popping into Alfred’s with our pooch Thor for a post-beach lunch. Staff are always friendly and food is always fresh and delicious. There’s a great relaxed GC vibe here and we always look forward to our next visit. Our fave dish? The hot dogs of course!Love the fact they have a few fun cocktails on offer now too (hello Aperol Spritz).
Alfred’s diner in mermaid beach has Great Burritos!!! I highly recommend the falafel one on the lunch menu as It tastes so so good!!! Its pretty cheap to eat there and has a great little put foot eating area! Must give it a try if you haven’t already!
