One girl was waiting on all tables on a Saturday night so she did a good job. Corkage is only $1 per person! And she kept the remaining drinks in the fridge for us. The sweet sour chicken stir fry was really nice but would prefer less pepper. The pad Thai was delicious. Stir fried rice a little dry and would have liked the Penang curry to be a little more creamier. Still nice experience for dining with the family .
Interesting place! Forget traditional seating. Here you’ll walk up onto stairs and a raised platform where the table is the same height as that platform, but then there’s leg space cut out underneath the table. Poor waiters just get sick of walking up the stairs only to then be standing over you like a giraffe! We ordered Banquet A on a Saturday night, it’s great value and the dishes were tasty (in particular the sweet & sour pork), but the Red Curry Beef meat was a tad overlooked. Rice was a tiny bit cloggy too, but sauces and flavours were enjoyable and it’s a very affordable night. Must try the Curry Puffs for entree too!Staff were friendly and atmosphere built after 7pm. Nice for something a little different.
if you want poor service, cheap dry meat, minimal flavoured thai food, this is the place for you. Beef massaman and pad thai tasted like it was cooked by a year 8 home economics student. won’t be coming back.
