I went there with Elise on Thursday night and I had the Rump Steak with Salt and Pepper Calamari and she had the Grilled Barramundi. We both went back a few times because we enjoyed the Salad Bar. The Cheese Bread was lovely but the dessert wasn’t very exciting.
Been here for morning brunch. It had a buffet spread of salads, pasta, soups, desserts. All were fabulous. Specially the cheese toast was fabulous! Great ambience and service.
I would give 1 star but the Cheese Bread redeemed the experience. If maccas can use a real chicken breast in their deluxe burgers, I am not sure why somewhere that charges double the price still uses chicken that is akin to a chicken nugget. It was mediocre and the chips were average. Luckily I’m not from around here so I won’t be tempted to ever think about going back. Except for that delightful cheese bread
This was our first brunch in Gold Coast and we really wanted good yet inexpensive food. But unfortunately we ended up in this “almost” upscale place. It looked welcoming and we were hungry after the long flight so we went in without much research (a complete no-no for all tourists).We ordered Salmon and some good old fashioned rib eye steak and undoubtedly they were really delicious.The portion was good and the sides were excellent. But we also ended up paying 25AUD for unlimited excess to Salad bar which came with variety of salads and a few desserts (really ordered by mistake.Realised late!!). It’s overrated as we were not the salad eating type and desserts were not at all to our liking.The staffs were quite friendly and we liked the place but yes it indeed ate away a major portion of our daily budget for that day.Overall a good but expensive experience.Food 4/5Service 3.5/5Ambiance 4/5
