Walking through Cavil Ave looking for some fish and chips to take away and saw a sign for this place. Walked in and the menu looked good so we ordered our dinner to take back to our apartment. At first the prices seemed high, but when I looked at other people’s meals, the serving size was very generous.Ours was ready after a short wait and got it back to the accommodation.The fish was nice and lightly battered, and a nice large size. Chips were great (not sure how they salt them but I always ask for no salt).The scallops were not over cooked, and the calamari was nice, with a thick batter (a-bit much for me).Would not discount this place as a good place for some fresh fish and chips.

Other then that, the price was a lil tad too high, but is not suprising since everything in Surfers Paradise is a bit pricey. Overall, if u r looking for a good breakfast that will fill u up for the day, you cant go wrong.

The outlet looked shabby and the food was even shabbier. Nothing can go wrong with fish and chips but firstly we asked for grilled and we got it lightly fried instead. After the bad start, the fish turned out to be very bland. There’s no ounce of any seasoning whatsoever. I would however give points for keeping the flesh moist and the fries.
