My husband and I came here for Saturday morning breakfast. The food tasted ok but I was expecting better. The paleo brekky seemed quite over priced. It took 20 minutes for my coffee and I really dislike how everything is served in takeaway plates/cups.
Finally checked out this cafe and loved it. It has a very chilled atmosphere, staff was lovely, food and drinks were really good. It was so good to finally have an amazing acai bowl again, even my partner enjoyed it and he isnt a big fan of them! We also had a banana smoothie which was delicious, the man bun, omfg it was so tasty and the meat was perfectly cooked. The social Benny was also amazing, the salmon was perfectly cooked, mushrooms tasted really nice and eggs were nicely poached. It was abit hard to find a table and hear out our name when it got called but other than that this place is a must when visiting the GC

As I’m not a local, after much review, my friends and I came here for a social catchup with another friend who was studying at the coast. I ordered the veggie burger, my friends – the mushroom bruschetta, the acai bowl, and the social benny. My burger was just a little over average-tasting, not the best veggie burger I have eaten, but decent and I was greatly amused by the sweet chilli kettle(?) chips it was served with. The other food my friends ordered looked absolutely delicious though, and perhaps it was my fault I made the wrong order. (3/5)Service was absolutely lovely, food came out fast-food style, and the staff were quite friendly, particularly the barista, who happily took a group photo for us when he was not busy. Atmosphere was super chill, and despite quite a full house at the time, was not at all too loud for a good catch-up talk. (4.5/5)
