Beautiful coffee. Nice quick service even on crazy busy mornings. The staff could be a little friendlier a few sour faces behind the counter.
Rude, up themselves staff. Food is OK, but really: a cafe should do more than just cut an avocado in half and put it on a plate with a slice of toast. Tragedy really, still a good view but this place has really slipped. Go to the yard, or bskt or anywhere really. Coffee’s barely passable.Tried twice in 3 days just in case we’d copped a bad day, but still crap.
Piccolo used to be my fav cafe but not anymore. The coffee is still great and the food is nice and reasonably priced. What really lets it down is the staff. They are consistently rude and it’s quite off putting to feel like you are a nuisance by being in their presence. Such a shame.
