This place was probably the first coffee I have ever had in Milton as I remember after moving in it was on my way to work and since it was open early mornings I often would grab a takeaway. Being my last visit a long time ago I decided it was time to come back here.I ordered a dirty chai latte and a vegetarian wrap which was changed to a vegetarian Turkish once the staff noticed they had run out of wraps. The dirty chai had a nice coffee flavour and a creamy texture however it tasted more like a cappuccino than a dirty chai, I almost couldn’t notice the presence of spices at all. Was a great coffee but not a great dirty chai would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.The vegetarian Turkish was huge and the veggies tasted fresh enough but there was too much pesto and cheese for my liking which made me get tired it about halfway. It’s a nice sandwich but I just couldn’t finish it by myself. Would rate it also a 3.5 out of 5.Overall I had a nice coffee today and the staff was friendly and promptly solved the problem with my order, I can definitely imagine myself coming back.
Have been meaning to try this little place out for so long, but has always been closed at the weekends when we went. Today (a weekday) I scored it was open! The lady barista recommended I have a double shot so that is what I did. The coffee was smooth with a distinctive flavor burst. I don’t think I should have had the double shot as it was just a tad too strong- never the less it was a great flat whitel
Located at a very eye-catching position at cnr of Cribb & McDougal road, this caf did a very good job on my order of Croissant with Ham & Cheese as compared to the bad experience at Urban Espresso last weekend. Actually, I did not expect that it would be good because the croissant was again done in pressed form but when I cut it up, I saw the running cheese that made me happy. After the first bite, the soft texture changed my impression on a pressed croissant, it really can be a decent food to go with the strong flat white. Cheers!
This little coffee shop is located at the corner of Cribb Rd and McDougall Rd and is always crowded with office workers in the morning. If you are picky with your coffee, you will notice that your favourite cup tastes different each time depending on who you get behind the coffee machine. So your flat white could taste amazing like one from, a self-proclaimed coffee specialist, Reverends in the Valley or an average cup from a random cafe. But if caffeine boost is what you after then Madcuppa is a decent place. There are so many options in the area tho if this is not the one for you.
