Drop in to the XXXX Alehouse for some lunch. The bar and dining is on the 2nd floor, large bar and dining area, with plenty of memorabilia to see and buy. We had the chicken snitzel with slaw and potato salad, and the fish and chips. Both meals good pub grub and well served and cooked. Obviously washed down with a schooner of XXXX. Worth a visit for either lunch or doing the tour.
Good Beer? Oh yes, they serve a wide range on top of the XXXX classics here! The food was great from starters through to desert and the staff looked after us like royalty. With the laid back atmosphere and live music on Friday nights, I will definitely be back!
Great southern fried chicken with to die for dip! Lamb was a bit of a miss, fries were yummy! Beer… as always, as long as it is a XXXX, it’s good to go!
I go here often for lunch and the food is always good, theservice is always good and the XXXX off the wood is amazing. They have dailyspecials on the board that are always tasty and the usuals on the menu areoften so big I cant finish my meal. But as I mentioned before the absolutebest thing about this place is the XXXX off the wood. The only reason I gavethis place 4.5 stars and not 5 is that I have been there twice recently beforethe Queensland Reds game and they had run out of XXXX off the wood.
Beef Burger. Omg probably the best burger in Queensland! Fat and juicy patty with mustard and pickle – just perfect. The Brewery dining area is awesome too.
Dig into a burger!. Go for the simple menu items and you’ll love this pub. Went on a weekend for lunch (wasn’t a game day, so was very quiet). It is fitted out with XXXX merch and memorabilia, clean, friendly staff, and probably has a very lively atmosphere on game days or friday lunch to happy hour.
Great atmosphere with helpful friendly staff. I could not fault the food but have tasted better. It is a pub after all so it’s better then most other pub restaurants.
