Excellent fried rice. This is one of the few Chinese restaurants that actually do proper fried rice! I have tried some of the other dishes- which were reasonably priced and delicious. The Special Fried Rice is the winner! The restaurant ambiance is not crash hot- but who cares? The staff are efficient and courteous and accurate with timings – I hate it when 10 minutes turns into 20! Well done Gum Do!
I have a clinic across the road & eat lunch menu once a week. The portions are generous and authentic chicken, lamb, beef, & veggies, I see the preparation on different days. These folks have been part of Mitchelton village 17 years.. So that says a lot in today’s business climate.Enjoy authentic, Chinese food.. Dr Kevin
Yeah pretty terrible. Everything drowning in oil and msg, felt sick afterwards. They’re using textured soybean protein instead of meat. Give this place a miss for your health’s sake.
Great, cheap Chinese food. Crab meat and sweet corn soup is awesome, as is the honey king prawns. Delicious take away!
Don’t bother. Flavourless over cooked everything, this place is really bad.
Unreal!. I cannot believe these reviews! The food here is well-cooked and tasty, but that cannot change the fact that the meat (both chicken and beef) is textured soy protein. It is NOT real. Frankly, it should be illegal.
Shredded beef is delicious! Fresh, tasty Chinese food & great value for money.
