  We came here on a busy Saturday night and I love that this place accepts bookings! They have an excellent craft beer selection on tap that changes daily and a great selection available in the fridge. Wine list is good and prices aren’t exorbitant so big props for that!We chose a few items off the small bites menu and they were served quickly. Popcorn chicken was delicious and full of flavour. The fish cakes were also really nice and tasted of Thai flavours. Chorizo was good, I like the addition of the leek. We also had the pork belly bites which were nice, however I would have loved something with it to cut through the fat like an apple sauce or similar. We also picked the pickled vegetables which were lovely and crunchy, not too acidic however I think the chutney would have been better served in a separate dish as it took away from the fresh flavour. It would be great if there was a steamed vegetable option to go with the small bites as it was quite heavy going. Everything was really tasty, just needed a fresh element perhaps. We finished with the chocolate cranberry brownies with boysenberry icecream. YUM!! Absolutely delicious, not too sweet, loved it.This is a brilliant addition to Blackwood St with friendly staff, great atmosphere, good drinks and tasty food. It would be even better if a section outside could be dedicated to a kids area as it’s not ideal for those with little ones in tow. Perhaps just for the afternoon, this could be done and then given back to seating for the later session to ensure no one misses out on a spot! Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to return soon.
