This place has a nice relaxed atmosphere set back from Blackwood street. The food is very fresh and tasty with generous portions. The menu has some interesting twists on the original breakfast options. I went with the eggs beni with smoked salmon and was certainly happy with my choice. The smoked house beans are also worth a try. Prices are decent. Dog friendly as well. Will be going back!
Decided to try this new local hub out on a walk one morning and we were pleasantly surprised! I never have sweet breaky but decided on the porridge/muesli dish which was so yum. Fresh figs and not to sweet which I loved. My friend had the pumpkin dish (vego) which was tasty and looked healthy. Pricing was reasonable and coffee was delicious. The decor could do with a bit of work, still a bit dated from the previous owners. But other than that a very cute hangout cafe.
What a charming little place, it certainly lives up to its name! Nestled on the lovely Blackwood Street, there is plenty of parking near this cafe. With indoor and outdoor covered seating and a clean and simple feel, the atmosphere it lets off is carefree and relax, like any morning should be! Today I had the spiced pumpkin with poached eggs which was delicious! I also love the fact how eco friendly this place is trying to be! 50cents off coffee when you bring your own mug and a polite little sign to say please take away your takeaway coffees. Love it, will be back!
