Not your typical hustle and bustle pub. Probably because of its location. And the bistro area is nicer than we expected with a casual vibe. There is also a pleasant outdoor area with tables, and couches too. Suitable place for friends or family after work. Staff were upbeat and friendly. Service was efficient. The food was good. What you expect from a pub-like venue. There was a Thursday night parmy special for $15. The girls said it was good, but would have liked more sauce. I ordered the special – chorizo and scallop spaghetti. Great flavours and reasonable serving of chorizo and scallops. But, again, could have had a lot more sauce. The scallops were also under cooked. There were also big chunks of onion through the dish, which I don’t like. It didn’t say this on the menu and I dislike when places do that. The price ($27) for this dish is pretty steep, particularly for this kind of restaurant. Would I go again? Yes, if someone wanted to or if we were looking for somewhere close by.
