The worst Vietnamese and Chinese restaurent I have ever tried in Australia. I ordered one spicy stir-fry beef takeaway for dinner. The beef was seriously overcooked. It was really hard, dry and no sauce or vege.As a Vietnamese, I’m wondering what kind of stir-fry beef was that. It was awful. I was so sorry for my money and for a terrible dinner.
I would usually not bother reviewing if only mildly disappointed, but this meal was shocking!This was our ‘stir fry’ spiced beef, served with no vegetables or sauce, it was more like beef jerky.We had to cook our own vegetables to add, to compensate for the overpowering salty flavour.I don’t want anyone else to pay good money for such a let down.
Ordered the sizzling beef and i’m not joking I was concerned for my safety.The beef came out more than sizzling, it was spitting all over the bloody joint.There was beef juice flying left right and centre, I didn’t know what to do.If it wasn’t for my reading glasses I would’ve gotten 3rd degree burn to the eye.In the future i’d like to request the dish to be served a little less sizzling please.But gorgeous flavour apart from that. Will bring Sheila with me next week to try.Thanks, see you soonJudy x
Went here on a Saturday night. Does walk-ins, bookings and takeaways. Service was friendly and attentive. Clean and simple decor. What I usually expect from Vietnamese food is the balance of sweet, salty and sour. Unfortunately the sizzling beef was a bit too sweet, and the pho was a bit too salty and lacked depth of flavour. Nonetheless, the portions were good and at reasonable prices.
