Not much open at 8 on a Saturday morning in Montville but we happened upon this small cafe and thought to give it a try. All in all, it was quite nice. My partner had a BLAT for $12 which he seemed to like and I had the bacon and scrambled eggs for $16 (pictured). It had nice, thin cuts of toasted sourdough and an almond dukkah sprinkled over the eggs. There was a fragrant dressing over it all – sort of like an olive oil with a bit of honey and something else that I’m not sure of (lavender?). Made it quite different. I would return if I were looking for breakfast again here in pretty Montville.
Nice little place in Montvilee. The decor is interesting with drawings from artist Luke Alexander Fitzgerald. It doesn’t fare well with the most prestigious coffee shops in Melbourne, but it is an honest above the average place to have a rest while visiting Montville.
Everything about this cafe was good, food – service & atmosphere. After ordering our coffee & food it all come out fresh within 15minutes. We will definitely be back.
Dropped in for a coffee here today. The service was friendly but a little slow because there was only 1 fellow serving and making coffee. The coffee was good and reasonably priced for a touristy area. Worth a visit if your in the area, but best if your not in a rush hahaha
