My wagyu burger was a little undercooked, but they went above and beyond by replacing it and offering a free drink. The meals were very tasty, friendly service. Will come back
Great atmosphere. The singers they have on a Saturday afternoon add to the ambience. Never heard a bad one. The garden atmosphere is beautiful. Great wind down spot. We had the pumpkin soup special. Grilled open chicken. Greek and lamb salad fish and chips. Pan seared chicken breast. Fish and chips. Classic oyster kilpatrick which were tasty but cold. Mezze plate. The food was enjoyable. Service was friendly. The food takes a while to come out which we did not mind as we enjoyed the atmosphere
Went here with the partner for weekday dinner. We ordered the Pork and the Moroccan Cottage Pie. Generous servings, although both meals were standard. The cottage pie missed the mark in terms of Moroccan spices. The pork was a little dry.Service was efficient and friendly. Casual ambience with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Complimentary transport available for guests staying in the area. Reasonable prices.Overall, average but comfortable pub dinner fare.
Came here on a Friday night which was unexpectedly busy according to staff. Despite huge venue has one small tiny bar and register for orders. The pot pie was delicious according to many friends I came with, and the potato and leek fritters were rather nice.
@Rather disappointing. My husband had booked the restaurant 5 months ago, asking for inside downstairs as I am handicapped and can’t do stairs when we got there there was no place for us inside except upstairs so they put us outside on a cold spring night. My husband wanted to make this night special as it was our anniversary and last year I had spent it in hospital not knowing if we would have this day together. The food was satisfactory, but we had to Waite for cutlery. Non came with the meal and the food was almost cold because if the delay. We did get some bread and wine to compensate, but don’t feel this was good enough. It is a service industry and customers should’ve been treated well in the first place.
